Robert “Bob” E. Tyson, 77 of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away, Sunday, January 14, 2018, in his home with the Love of his life by his side. Born July 13, 1940, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Orrin D. and Pauline E. (Terrill) Tyson, Sr. A U.S. Army Veteran, Bob married Lorrine Ann Lucas on October 29, 1962. He was a carpenter employed by Ohio Ceiling and Partition Co. for over 25 years, retiring in 1995. He also owned and operated Bob Tyson Excavating and Hauling. Bob was affectionately known to many as “Little Feller, Bucky, Ebert, Ebby, Crosscreek MF, Papa, Pipsqueak & Bullfart”. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, MI, and the Ohio Carpenters Union, Local 248. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, roses, hummingbirds, trailering horses for his grandchildren, going to the casino, playing cards, playing Sorry and Pool with the boys, watching the Wheel of Fortune, going to the Fulton County Fair, he loved his Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers and NE Patriots, but most of all spending time with his wife, family and grandchildren. Our Dad was the best – He was always there for us. He will be remembered for the love of family, his sense of humor and infectious smile. Mom loves you and we love you! BCNU Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Lorrine; children, Stephen (Denice) Heckel, Kathryn Riley, Mary Joan Tyson, Paul (Melissa) Tyson, Brenda (Michael) Kolhoff, Donald (Heidi) Tyson and Andrea Monaghan; brother, James (Betty) Tyson; sister-in-law, Yvonne Tyson; step-brother, Tim Redfox; grandchildren, Christopher, Sean, Rhiannon, Kyle, Kayleigh, Cody, Michael, Joshua, Jessica, Benson Jr, Anthony, Jenna Leigh, Elisha, Andrew, Ashley W, Ashley, Amber, Madison, Jered, Vyckie, Joshua, John Paul, Chad, Hannah, Nickolas, Lucas and Alex; great grandchildren, Paris, Coil, Kenna, DaNasia, Lyric, Miles, Dylan, Madyson, Averie, Gavin, Izabella, Gabriella, Ean, Xavier, Zane, Isaiah, Brantlee, Colton and Lillie. Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Heckel; daughter, Laura Ann Heckel; brothers, Orrin Jr, Richard and Kenneth Tyson; sister, Alma Van Buren. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Monday, January 22, 2018, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4605 St Anthony Rd, Temperance, MI, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am.
